The text for this sermon comes from Nehemiah 8:1-10 and concerns the decline of memory among the people of Judah.  It explores the importance of memory and how we can lose ours if we become lazy and indolent.

The Psalms seems like a strange place to choose as an Advent Text, nevertheless, we being Advent 2024 in Psalm 25.  The subject is waiting for God.
