Exodus 19:1-8 is the text for this sermon.  The sermon has the Exodus as its core event and discusses how, after the Fall, mankind has constantly been moving away from God. Nevertheless, God has persevered in seeking to return mankind to full relationship with him.

Alienation

This sermon takes a look at Israel in the wilderness and how their idolatry caused them to become alienated from God who saved them from Egypt.

Disappointment

This sermon comes from Genesis 6:1-8 and is about the disappointment that God experienced because of the Fall and the resulting corruption of the world he created.  This sermon also looks at how God is responsive to humanity, even changing his mind.

The Fall

This sermon starts a 3-part series on how to read the Bible.  In part one we take a look at the dangers of cherry-picking scripture and ignoring context.  The text comes from 2 Timothy 3:14-17.

Teach Your Children

This sermon is informed by Moses' speech to the second generation of the children of Israel just before their march into Canaan.  In his speech Moses said that it was critical to their survival as a nation that they pass on their history and instruction to their children and future generations.

Guest speaker, Lance Marshall, is a jail minister in Contra Costa County, California.  In this sermon he shares some of the things he has learned as he works to help inmates in jails.  Lance shares very touching and wonderful insights, and this sermon is well worth listening to.
