The text comes from Philippians 3:12-21 which concludes, "He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies....using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control."

This sermon comes from Romans 8:38-39 which, in Good News fashion, speaks about the love of God which is more powerful than the forces of Hell or any other evil force. Compare this to those views of God and his love which are inaequate, such as the vengeful God or the meek and mild God, and therefore not good news to those to whom we speak of God. The sermon challenges us to think of God as the one who sent his son, defeated sin and death, and is now finishing his work of redemption.
