This week's sermon came from Hebrews 10:5-10 and took a look at how Christ's coming ended the annual sacrifices that Israel had to make, Jesus himself being the perfect, all-encompassing sacrifice which defeated evil and death and atoned perfectly for our sin.

I will fulfill the promise.

This sermon comes from Jeremiah 33:14-16, a prophecy given to Judah as Babylon was bearing down on her and would destroy her.  The Messianic implications of this text are a good foundation for thinking about Advent on this first day of Advent.
