They’re just drunk!

This sermon compares the chaos of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9) and the unification of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-13).  Babel resulted in the inability of humanity to work together.  Pentecost brought the Spirit actively into the life of the church and resulted in the proliferation of the abundant good news.

This sermon comes from Acts 16:16-34 and concerns the first visit of Paul to the European city of Philippi.  The sermon contrasts the responses of the demon-possessed girl and the prison guard with those of Lydia and the other Philippians who responded to the gospel.
