This sermon is about the sixth of the Seven Deadly Sins, Gluttony.  The Self-Storage Association says that the U.S. now possesses nearly 2 billion square feet of personal storage.  This fact highlights the problems the US has with this sin.  We no longer have enough space to store our junk in our homes.  This sermon explores our human hunger for more and more.

I’m Taking Care of Me

Posted in sin by LifeSpringChurch on October 8th, 2017

This sermon is about Sloth, the fourth deadly sin in our series on the Seven Deadly Sins.  Also called Acedia (əˈsē-dēə) sloth is apathy and laziness that makes one cease caring about matters of importance.  Sloth is insidious and destructive, and it is easy to see why it was called a Deadly Sin.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-10 and Proverbs 26:13-14 are the texts for today's sermon.
